Are we to have a girl?

Later thought about the story in the Bible with Sarah and laughed
We wondered if we should have more children and decided to leave it in God’s hands, (Father in heaven if we are going to have more children, please make sure it happens and we want a girl.)
Not long after, I remember so clearly, being out driving and suddenly being showered with laughter and the thought that God had answered the prayer, we are going to have a daughter.
A bit of a strange prayer perhaps and as time went on, I thought, it was probably fine that we weren’t going to have more, I was very happy with our 3 lovely boys and we also had a lot to take care of, with homeschooling and a new farm.
All the baby clothes are gone.
And where will the money come from?
To our great surprise, on April 5th I started to feel nauseous, in the other 3 pregnancies it meant 1 1/2 – 2 months. almost in bed, with almost no food and very little to drink, I could not handle the idea of having to be bedridden for the next many weeks and it was only a little later that we really realized that we had received a very specific answer to our prayer.
Having settled with the idea that we would not have any more children in the near future, I had just about 2 weeks before April 5th, given away our baby clothes and thought that; if we have more children, it will be a girl next time.
Søren had to take time off work until June, he hadn’t had much work since January and those were the months when there was some work, but everything was in God’s hands and so were the expenses of living on the farm, even though our bank and accountant have never been able to understand how our finances look like they do and neither have we, we can only answer, ALL GLORY TO GOD, we have no mortgage, it has been paid off, but when we bought the house we were not allowed to get any loans besides the mortgage, so we can’t go into the red without sky-high interest rates, the calculation with our income doesn’t make sense to the bank and they were afraid to lend us money.

Sure it's going to be a girl
God is greater and because of Jesus we are blessed, a large gift of money was deposited into our account to our surprise, which was in line with our not going into the red.
After a hard time in bed and losing almost 7 kilos, the joy slowly began to be felt. We were going to have a scan and also wanted to know if we were having a girl, I had an inner certainty, but also found it hard to believe, so I explained to the boys who were there that it could very well be a boy, they have been praying and wanting a little sister for a long time and Daniel’s answer was; that it is a girl in such unwavering conviction, he had asked God about it himself.
But imagine, even after they told us it was a girl, I still didn’t understand and had to call the maternity ward the next day to have it confirmed, she had almost fallen off the chair from laughing, they had never experienced that before.
It was so hard for me to understand God’s goodness in the midst of it all.
Since 2010, Søren has been thinking about the name Joline if we had a girl, which comes from the name Joseph 🙂 but we had also talked about the name Jenna since around 2015, so one morning Daniel comes in and says mom I know what her name should be, she should be called Joline, I dreamed and heard that and spelled it for myself, I was very surprised and couldn’t say much more than that it was probably prophetic.
The meaning of the names is the same: Joline, comes from the name Joseph and Jenna, comes from the name Johannes 🙂

Jenna Joline
On the 5th, Jenna Joline was born, the number 5 means grace in the Bible and that is truly what we experience, an undeserved gift from God, His grace is undeserved, so He gets all the glory and we all the blessing.
The Lord has shown Favor / Grace as Jenna means in Hebrew and comes from the name John.
Thank God for Jesus and His great love for us, it is truly GRACE. We have received everything we need in Him and it is all by grace, may we grow in grace and the knowledge of Jesus, so that we can see who we truly are and how richly blessed we are.
